Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow vs Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz!

I decided to do this comparison after being sold on ABH Dipbrow while at my local Sephora store. (Yes, I know, I’m a pushover when it comes to makeup) The sales lady said she used it herself and proceeded to attempt to persuade me to try it. She even said that if I don't like it, I could always return it. Keep in mind that I’ve been religiously using ABH Brow Wiz for quite awhile now, which you might know if you watch my videos on YouTube. Hold up…. What?! You haven’t seen my videos? You are missing out! Click HERE to go to my channel. But WAIT…. First read my review and the pros and cons I’ve discovered for both products.
ABH Brow Wiz - $21

PROS:
I used Brow Wiz in Dark Brown. I find it incredibly easy to create a natural looking brow with this pencil. It goes on really light and allows you to gradually build up the darkness or your brow. The spoolie brush on one end of the pencil is convenient, because you don’t need to use any other brushes. The product stays put all day and doesn’t smudge. Just apply and go. If you enjoy drawing over painting, this is the product for you.
CONS:
I mostly wear a more natural brow, and my pencil lasted about 2-3 months. Unfortunately, it would suddenly run out. I would twist to make the point bigger, and it wouldn’t twist up, indicating it’s time to buy a new one. A little warning would be nice, since I often run out when only one brow is done. Also, the pencil is very skinny and I constantly seem to loose it between all the other items in my makeup drawer (that’s not really a con though, just a notice for me to clean up my makeup drawer).
ABH Dipbrow $18

PROS:
I used Dipbrow in Medium Brown. The great thing about this product is that it really fills in your brow well. Unlike the pencil lines you apply with Brow Wiz, this product gives more of a smudge of color. It also allows you to work in layers so you can go as dark as you desire. Unlike Brow Wiz, this pomade lasts a long time, because a little bit of product goes a long way. The sales girl said that if you like thicker brows, it will probably last a year, and if you like a more natural look, it can last up to 1.5 years. Talk about getting your money’s worth!
CONS:
The one thing I noticed about this product is that it’s really easy to apply too much too quickly. You really have to pace yourself and use just a little bit at a time. You also have to purchase a small slanted brush to ensure proper application. Dipbrow Pomade doesn’t come with a brush of its own. If find that outlining the brow with concealer is best to make the application look neat. It takes me a lot longer to apply Dipbrow neatly compared to the Brow Wiz pencil. (Then again, maybe it’s because I’ve been using the pencil a lot longer)
Comparison Pics
Although these comparison pics seem kind of similar, keep in mind that ABH Dip Brow has more of a smudge effect and is of a creamy consistency while ABH Brow Wiz is just a simple pencil.

The Verdict: IT’s a Tie!

Let’s face it, we all know that Anastasia BH is one of the leaders when it comes to brows. Both products are great! I would recommend using the Brow Wiz pencil during daytime for a natural application. The pencil makes it effortless to apply the product, which is ideal during morning rushes (I am the queen of rushing in the morning, so I know what I’m talking about) The Dipbrow Pomade is ideal when going out at night, since it easily provides a darker application with more coverage. Either way, you cannot go wrong with either product…. Maybe that’s why I own both now. Can you say product junkie….
