Review Time! Lilee Box (July)

How's it going BFFs... The past couple of weeks have been crazy busy with work and family obligations, and on top of that, my computer crashed and decided its memory is full and it just wouldn't cooperate. Bummer! But luckily, I'm up and running again and what better way to kick things off then with a Lilee Subscription box Review. It's like the fab team at Lilee knew that I needed to get a little spoiled, because the box sure came as a pleasant surprise at the perfect time. Before you say anything, I know July has already passed. However, I still wanted to show you all the swag I got, so you can see for yourself what you can expect to get in a Lilee Box.

Plush Rush Lipgloss in Fireworks - Butter London - $20.00
When I saw this lipgloss I loved the natural shade and all I could do was hope that it would be of a good quality. (Some lippies have a really nice shade but are sticky or of a terrible quality - you girls all know what I mean). I was so happy when I tried it on. It's not sticky at all and gives your lips a tingling sensation. Although it's said to have a plumping effect, I didn't notice a drastic difference. I didn't care though, because the gloss is gorgeous. So gorgeous that I'm wearing it in my 'Winged Eyeliner Tutorial video. The pics below are some stills from the same day of the video shoot.
Rosemary Lemonade Napkin Set - Lilee - $6.99
Light Gold Cocktail Rim Sugar - Dell Cove Spice Co. - $4.50
Citrus Bitters - Hella Company - $9.95
Muddler and Mixing Spool - Lilee - $15.00

Everything you need to make the perfect cocktail was in my Lilee Box. I didn't test any of these items, and will probably give away the citrus bitters, since I don't drink...Alcohol that is. However, the sugar crystals will make for decorative sugar-rimmed glasses and the muddler and mixing spoon will come in handy when I make lemonade or need to crush some herbs to get the flavor out. Cheers!
Luminous Legs Shimmering oil - Versaspa - $40.00

This shimmering oil is said to dry quickly and deliver an extended tan within 4 to 8 hours of applying it. It's suitable for all skin tones, so although I was born naturally tan, I can still use it. I haven't used it yet, but definitely will. Will it give me that Beyonce/J.Lo glow? I'll update this post as soon as I use it to let you know.
Jello Shot Rosy Cheek & Lip Gel - So Susan - $24.95

Another item that I haven't tested yet. I did apply it to the back of my hand just to check out the shade. Turns out it's a bright orange lip stain that you can also use on your cheeks. Upon the first application, the color appears bright orange, but it quickly fades and just leaves a hint of orange color behind. This product has a water-like consistency and a scent that reminds me of bubblegum.
Collagen Wipes - Global Beauty Care - $4.99

I am so happy that I took these photos the moment I got the Lilee Box, because that meant I could open up this pack of cleansing cloths. I would absolutely buy these in the store. The cloths remove much more makeup compared to a facial wash, and because they're infused with Vitamin A and Collagen, they also help to keep you looking young. Would definitely recommend these.
Bonus Minis
In addition to all the items mentioned above, my Lilee Box also had a few bonus minis. This time, the bonus items included an eyelash/eyebrow comb from Prestige Cosmetics and a Blue Lotus & Seaweed Treatment Sheet Mask from Pur-Lisse. I have previously reviewed these items when they came in my Beauty Box 5. Click here to read that review.
A subscription to the Lilee Box costs $49/month and subscribers can choose from a one-month, 4-month or 12-month subscription. Subscriptions can also make for the perfect gift. To find out more about Lilee, click here to visit the website or check out the company on Instagram at @Lilee.
So there you have it... My review of the July Lilee subscription box. Hope you enjoyed the post. Are you into subscription boxes? Have you tried any of these items? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Don't be shy! xo
