DIY: Lip Plumper - Easy, Quick and Effective
Hi BFFs, I am so happy that it's weekend, because I've been staying up way too late trying to finish up editing my new YouTube video. I'm glad to say that it's done. (Happy dance!!!!) My new video is another DIY and this time I'm showing you two methods you can use to plump up that pucker.

As you probably know, big, plump lips a-la Angelina Jolie and Kylie Jenner are the "in" thing right now. All kind of gadgets are available to inflate your lips . Just like injections and implants, these gadgets can get quite pricey and I haven't even mentioned the lip plumping lip glosses and lipsticks that are thrown in your face each time you enter the makeup store or turn on the TV. Not to worry BFFs, you don't have to settle for less. I will show you two methods that you can probably do right away since the ingredients are probably right in your pantry.
The main lip plumping ingredient I'm using is cinnamon. When applied to your lips, it basically causes a slight tingling sensation that triggers blood flow to your lips to increase and results in a plumping effect. Be extra careful when using the oil, because it's very effective and if you apply too much, your lips might get too big (I would recommend starting slowly with just a little cinnamon powder or a few cinnamon oil drops to see how your lips react. Also, don't do this lip plumping trick too often. Keep it to once or twice a week at the most. Also, if you're not wearing lipstick right after, always make sure to moisturize since lips can feel a little dry afterward.

The lip oil I'm using in the video is amazing. It's from Willing Beauty and you can read more about their products or get your own lip oil here. ($1 of the each tube sold goes to helping single mothers who are homeless or in shelters -- so love that!)

The photo below will show you the results I got for each method. I must honestly say that I'm a big fan now of the essential oil. It worked so quickly and beautifully.

Here is the video. Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you haven't already. I have lots more coming up. xoxox
Let me know what you think of the video. Have you ever tried a DIY lip plumper? What did you think? Did you like the final result?
