Review Time! Colored Contact Lenses from ttdeye.com

Happy weekend BFFs!!!! Hope you are having a great day. Have you ever tried colored contact lenses? If you have, you know how amazing they can be. They can totally transform the way you look. This is also why I was quite excited when the folk at ttdeye.com contacted me for a collaboration. Having worn colored contacts in the past, I knew this was going to be a fun venture.

After choosing several contact lenses they shipped them to me. I was pleasantly surprised by the cute packaging. The lenses each came with their own case that clearly indicated which eye the lens goes in. A cute little compact mirror was also included. I received grey and green contacts from their new Polar Lights series.

The grey contact lenses are my favorite, because they clearly transformed my appearance. I kept joking around that I looked alien-like as if I was from another planer. (I mean this is a good way) Before taking these photos, I had to adjust my makeup routine. In the past when wearing contacts, I found that they are most flattering when paired with natural makeup tones. Heavy makeup can make them stand out too much to the point where they look unnatural. It's not necessary to put on a lot of makeup because the lenses do all the work for you. As you can see in the photos, I kept my eyes natural with earthy beige and brown eye shadows and a black eyeliner accent. On my lips I put a nude gloss and some bronzer on my cheeks finished the look. Oh, and for that special effect, I did wear some Ardell lashes, which can be quite addictive might I say. (Haven't met a mascara yet that can outdo a good ol' falsie)

I put in the green contact lenses while filming a lipstick video (See pic below), but I found that my natural brown eyes kind of mixed with the color, making the lenses less obvious. You can only see these on my when I look into bright light and am close up. If you naturally have light eyes, I'm sure you'll be able to see them better.

Putting in contact lenses might take some practice, but came pretty easy for me, since I've had lenses in the past. Once the contacts were in my eyes, I didn't feel that they were there at all. The only time I was reminded that I was wearing them, was when I looked into the mirror and by the reaction I got from people. Want to try colored contacts also? That's great, because I have a discount code for all my BFFs. Just click here to go the ttdeye website and enter the code 'kimberlycaines' during checkout to get 10% off your purchase. Yay!!!! Gotta love a good discount!

When I get more contacts I will update this page with more photos. It will be fun to see the different looks. Have you ever worn colored contact lenses or would you? What did you think? Which color do you think I should try next? Let me know below. xoxoxo

On a quick other note, I'm working on a new YouTube video so watch out for that to be up soon. Meanwhile sub to my channel so you don't miss out.
