Kimberly's Fave! Lolita Lempicka Perfume

Hey BFFs!!! It's time for another 'Kimberly's Fave' segment. Today I am featuring my favorite perfume of the moment, Lolita Lempicka.
I love perfume. To me, it's the finishing touch to any outfit. There aren't many days that I go without wearing perfume. If you've never smelled Lolita Lempicka, this post is going to make you wish that you did. The first time I smelled this perfume was while I was testing it in the store. Some people passing by commented that something was smelling super good and they had no idea what it was. That was all I needed to hear!

Josiane Maryse Pividal is the French designer who is the mastermind behind the fragrance. Since the launch of the first perfume, various others followed, but I still like the original fragrance the best. If I had to choose one word to describe the scent of this perfume it would be 'exotic'. In addition to licorice, top notes that make up Lolita Lempicka include Anise Seeds, Violet Petals, and Ivy. After wearing it for a while, a beautiful musk scent lingers. This fragrance is never overpowering, no matter how much you apply. I wear it any time of the year, during daytime and nighttime. Heck, this smells so good, I'd wear it anytime.
Depending on the size and where you purchase it, you can expect to pay anywhere from $15 to $80. It's worth every penny and it lasts for a long time. Apply it one time in the morning and you can enjoy the gorgeous scent all day long. Make sure to look for the purple bottle shaped like an apple.
I don't change fragrances often. My last favorite fragrance was Casmir by Chopard which I've been wearing since I was 16 and living in Europe. I still love Casmir, but find it a little strong now and Lolita Lempicka is just what I was looking for.

5 Tips on How to Make Perfume Last Longer
There is nothing worse than applying a perfume and less than an hour later, the scent is gone. Not to worry, I got you. These 5 tips will help make your perfume last longer.
Always make sure to apply perfume to clean, moisturized skin. Ideally layer fragrances by using a moisturizer that matches the perfume fragrance. If you don't have the matching moisturizer, use and unscented moisturizer or Vaseline instead and apply the perfume on top of it. Similar to a makeup primer, the moisturizer gives the perfume something to hold onto.
Apply perfume to your pulse points, such as your wrist, neck, back of your knees and insides of your elbows. As your body temperature changes over the day, these pulse points will react to it and emit the scent.
Avoid rubbing the scent onto your skin -- dab it on instead. Rubbing changes the notes of the perfume and can effect the scent. After dabbing, just let it be.
Store perfume in a cool, dry spot. Avoid warm, damp places like the bathroom, because these conditions will break down the fragrance and affect its quality.
Spray perfume onto your hair brush and run the brush through your hair for a long additional-lasting scent. Don't spry perfume directly onto your hair as this can be drying.
Well bae-bees. I hope you like this segment. Have you used Lolita Lempicka? What is your favorite fragrance? Sound of below. Have fun xo.
