Halloween-Ready thanks to Walmart!
Well BFF's... It's that time of the year again, when I always start thinking about what to be for Halloween. I cannot and will not let my social media family (YOU GUYS) down! This year, I decided to transform into a cat. I refuse to spend a lot of money on accessories or a costume that I will only wear one time. Therefore, I headed to my trusted Walmart beauty department where I can always find a variety of beauty products that are of excellent quality and budget-friendly.
Halloween at Walmart
Have you ever strolled through Walmart's Halloween isles? If not, you are seriously missing out. You can find everything from scary costumes for all ages to Halloween decor for your home and garden. You have no excuse not to dress up this year, because even if you cannot make it to the Walmart store, or if there isn't a Walmart nearby, you can order everything from Walmart.com at with a click of a button.
When it comes to makeup, I love how various brands in Walmart carry special makeup items geared toward Halloween. Whether you're looking for Halloween press-on nails or Kiss Lashes to complete your look, Walmart has plenty to choose from.
My Halloween Look
This year, glitter is a must for me, so I stocked up on NYX Face and Body Glitter and made sure to also get the NYX Glitter Primer. (Gotta have that girls, otherwise the glitters will end up EVERYWHERE!!!) Luckily Walmart stores the primer right next to the glitter, so these were real easy to pick up. By the way... This glitter is going to last me a long time, because you only need a little to create an amazing effect. I used it on my bottom lip and also on my eyelids together with the NYX Ultimate Edit Petit Eyeshadow Palette.
Another essential item to create my cat look is eyeliner. I used Revlon's Colorstay Eyeliner although there were many other liners to choose from. For my foundation, I used the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation because it's a full coverage foundation, which is perfect to create a flawless finish.
For the finishing touch, this kitty cat needed some highlighter, so I used the Wet n Wild Megaglo Highlighting Powder. This highlighter easily stands up against those fancy highlighters that are much more expensive.
