Fenty Beauty Moroccan Spice Palette Review

Hi BFFs! How is quarantine going? Me? I'm trying to stay sane by staying busy... Filming, photo shoots, blogging, social media and exercise make up the greater part of my day. When things really start getting to me, I remind myself.... I am blessed to be healthy and well... Still alive. This virus and it's destruction is terrible!!! That's why I'm lightening up the mood with some beautiful pics and a new makeup review.
About the Palette

I recently got the Moroccan Spice Palette from Fenty Beauty (Rihanna's cosmetics line). You might have seen it on my Instagram Stories. The thing that attracted me to this palette is that it is super exotic and the colors do justice to its name. It contains 16 shades, which are a mix of mattes and shimmers that are said to be long-lasting and super pigmented. It comes in a gorgeous dark blue case that stands out from others and is cruelty-free. Yes, I love Rihanna and her music, but I also love quality makeup so keep reading to see what I really think of her Moroccan Spice palette and how it stands up to the competition.
Golden/Brown Cut Crease

To give an honest review of this palette I started playing around with it. I always demo and test makeup I'm reviewing myself because it's super important to me to give an honest first-hand review. I created this golden/brown cut crease makeup look with it and well... A few things stood out to me. The color payoff is on point! You don't have to use a lot of product to get a fierce look and the colors don't fade. The one thing I did notice was that the glittery golden color had some generous fallout. I wasn't happy about that because well... Glitter fall out is the worst kind and seriously difficult to remove. Although the picture might not show it, I was struggling trying to get the glitters off my cheeks. Fortunately the matte shades didn't have fall out so that helped and I also didn't experience any creasing so that was a plus. Once applied, I couldn't feel that I was wearing eye shadow, which is always a plus. I should also say that I got a lot of compliments on the eye makeup look which is a good gauge to go by.
My Starry Midnight Cut Crease

To really put this palette to the test, I decided to create another makeup look using the blue/pink-ish colors. I call this look my Starry Midnight Makeup look because of the shiny inner corners. The outcome of this look was a nice surprise because I just winged it. Fortunately, the shiny color on the inner corner didn't have any fall out, which made me very happy.
Final Conclusion
Generally, this palette costs $59 but currently it's on sale for $29, which is a great deal in the world of quality eye shadow palettes. Although the glitter fall out was somewhat bothersome, the palette is definitely worth it, because the results speak for themselves. If you get this palette, just make sure to put on some eye shadow shields before applying any of the glittery shades and you will be fine. You can also just hold some tissue below your eyes to catch any fall out if you don't have eye shadow shields.
